The beautiful house is situated on a hill, about 40 minutes from Florence, in the Chianti area, in an oasis of tranquility, a real paradise.
Founded as a fort lookout, prior to 1600, the house is located in a dominant position across the Arno Valley and is surrounded by forests., at 3 km from the village of San Donato in Collina. The owners have done a stylish renovation of the complex, managing to combine historic charm with the elegance and comfort of modern furniture.
The house has a beautiful swimming pool (5x10) with salt water in the green countryside, between hedges of roses and lemon trees. There is a very affectionate dog that makes the joy of the children guests.
ACCOMMODATION:
- Apartment Fortino
It is the largest of the two apartments (approx 150sqm). It has an equipped kitchen, dining and living room and three bedrooms: one bedroom with ensuite bathroom, a bedroom with a private bathroom and a double with private bathroom.
The rooms of the Fortino apartment can be rented individually taking advantage of the formula b&b.
- Apartment Fienile
A completely independent apartment on two floors, for max 4 people, with 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom.
On the ground floor is the kitchen with dining area, a bathroom, an utility room and lounge with sofa bed. The first floor includes the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom.

- You can ask for breakfast at the moment of booking.
- Enzo and Alfonsina are the former owners of a restaurant becomed known in Florence, inside the building of the Gucci House. They have always loved the contact with their customers, it is why Alfonsina provides customers also his experience and skills in the kitchen, offering the opportunity to dine inside their home with the option for the customer to enjoy eating what most he wants. Usually, after savoring the tasty and wholesome dishes of Alfonsina, the customers end up with the request to dine always on site.
- On request are organized cooking classes and wine tastings, with the support of grandma Rita who does the homemade pasta in the old way. The cooking classes are matched to the dinners and so it is served what has been cooked together.

- Florence is about 30 minutes, Arezzo in about 1 hour.

- A riding school for long horseback rides is located at few miles from the house as well as a fishing lake.
