This magnificent 17th century Tuscan farmhouse is situated in beautiful woodland in the Siena hills, high on the crest of the estate of Montestigliano, only a few kilometers south of Siena and within easy reach of the Chianti area, Florence, Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano, Montalcino, Montepulciano and Pienza. A perfect holiday retreat in the heart of Tuscany, where the rustic features of original Tuscan farmhouse architecture are combined with elegant and eclectic interiors. The resort is surrounded by nature where you can enjoy long and cool walks or go cycling.

The resort is made up of one renovated villa and its dependance completely renovated for your perfect holiday retreat in the heart of Tuscany, where the rustic features of original Tuscan farmhouse architecture are combined with elegant and eclectic interiors. Steps lead down to the garden and park when you can relax by the “infinity pool” with its travertine terrace that blends into its natural rocky environment.
Both the villa and the dependance have fireplace, screens on windows, washer, Microwave oven, stereo system, satellite television & DVD, Wi-Fi, security and ambient lighting outdoors. Inside the villa you’ll find also a fully equipped kitchen with 90cm oven suitable for catering and cooking demonstrations and a dryer. On the outside there’s a beautifully landscaped garden with pergolas, terraces and a covered courtyard for relaxing and dining alfresco .

Villa
This typical tuscan villa has 5 bedrooms, each one with its private bathroom. It dates back to the XVII Century and it has been completely renovated and elegantly furnished in typical Tuscan style. The rooms have exposed beam ceilings, lime washed walls in soft colours and terracotta tiled floors, with touches of modern Italian design in the fireplaces, bathrooms and outdoor features. Ground floor: on the ground floor there’s a big living room with the fireplace, a smaller living room, the dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, two double bedrooms, each one with a private bathroom, and one toilette. First floor: on the first floor there are three double bedrooms, each one with a private bathroom, and a living room.

Dependance
The adjacent barn which originally housed the sheep and cows, has been converted into a small self contained lodging, making a perfect companion to the main house. Decorated in a more contemporary style, light and airy with an open plan design, providing accommodation for further four persons. Entering directly the upper level are two bedrooms, one double, one twin, each with bathroom with a shower. From the mezzanine an open staircase leads down to the living area with fireplace. To the left is an open plan dining room and kitchen with a pantry/laundry room to the rear. Two large doors open onto a paved terrace for ‘al fresco’ dining with views of the surrounding woodlands.
