Description


The house had its past origins in 1100 with the union of two buildings, one of witch was a hospital. In 1200, predominating in Colle the art of paper, a precious papyrus was produced in it. In the successif centuries the activity reamined the same, even if, according to the requirements, the quality of the paper changed. In the last period of activity straw-coloured paper was produced, simply called yellow paper.
Today, converted the huge building into a modern hotel with restaurant, situated in the centre of the town; offers its guests a panoramic view of the ancient part of the town which can be reached using a crystal elevator a few steps away from the hotel.

ACCOMMODATION:
thanks to the numerous windows in the façade, whose purpose was to ventilate and dry the paper, all the apartments and rooms are extremely light and airy.

The hotel offers 38 bedrooms: singles, doubles and junior suites, each of which is equipped with: private bathrooms, direct phone, air conditioned, mini bar, tv.
A porter is on duty round the clock. Meeting rooms and inside parking are available to guests.

The restaurant: Soon, feel the real flavor of the Italian traditional cuisine, a combination of unique tastes from Tuscany in an authentic traditional atmosphere.
